I see CRC have Joplin 3s for sale today at 53% off, Ive heard in the past that your forever cleaning and servicing them. Is this still the case or are they a bit more robust nowadays ???

Speedball user here, no problems so far, but I use a rear mudguard to keep it relatively clean.

I've got a sealskin type thing on mine (r-version). Fine so far, but not had it long.

Mine was ace when it was working, but would routinely **** up by the end of a wet ride. Gunk would still be coming out of it even after being inverted for a week.
