As good a frame as you're likely to find on any full bike at that price I reckon.

My sister in law has just got one similar on cycle to work, seems solid yet lightweight and stiff. They used to get a bit of a bad rep but I can't see anything wrong with it, sure kicks the ass out of my 3 year old aluminium Allez for weight and stiffness

ok thanks i was looking at spending twice that but then the weight dousent really improve much and il still end up with better spec come final parts swap bar the sora shifters and 1 less gear on the rear which i cant really see being an issue.

Definitely a good frame for the price.

Are you a medium by any chance? If so I have a Boardman Team Carbon frameset plus bits which I could do you a deal on.

Just a thought, email in profile if interested.

They're not just a good bike for the money, they're good bikes full stop. I've had the opportunity to test them back to back with a few others (Madone, AlleZ, Nirone, roubaix) and they held their own with them all.

For the price, they are fine frames. Made by Merida to Giant TCR geometry. When they first launched (2009/10) they were superb value for money bikes, but the value has eroded a little over time to keep prices competitive. I raced on a Boardman Comp road and loved it. Now somebody else loves it, I hope (stolen).

Sizing is as per Giant TCR. I'm 5'10.5" and ride a Medium. Fit is spot on.

I'm 5ft 9in and 31inside leg. Medium is good for me, but I reckon anyone shorter would want to try the small.
