My Epic bleed fluid ran out so I bought some Comma Dot4 from the local car parts shop which cost £1.79 for 250ml
It's so cheap it makes me think it's not very good and if I bleed my brakes with it they will blow up and send me in to the nearest tree as punishment.
Should I buy some better quality Castrol performance stuff or is brake fluid just brake fluid?

No, it will be fine. Comma is a decent make anyway.
I doubt you would ever get to a point on a bike where brake fade was an issue.
