I really want to enter an enduro event this year and obviously tickets for Ard Rock have all sold out, but I've just seen that there is another even in Sept the 'Ard Moors
How does this compare what do I need to know about it?
It's a one day event really. It will be a long old day. No mileage is given but the climbing seems similar to ard rock. I'm in for ard rock but I'm greedy so going for this too..
A grass roots enduro like the PMBA would be a good introduction to racing. Places up for grabs on some of the first rounds and more coming Monday.

Im lucky enough to be doing the enduro again for this years for Ard Rock so I'm hoping to do the Ard Moors event as I think this will be my last time ever with a possible move to Canada coming up...
If its anything like Ard Rock it'll be big long climbs and cracking descents... Brilliant day out
Done the Ard Rock for the fast few years but didn't bother this year, its a decent day out and you have a good crack with the other riders on route but i prefer the Tweedlove, PMBA type of events. The Ard Rock feels like more of a big day out with mates as oposed to racing and i prefer woodland type forestry descending as oposed to barreling down chutes on wide open landscapes. I found it it a bit boring last year, and that push up out of that old mine after stage 4 i think was a ball ache.
