It's about an hour from me, I'm not riding the event but wondered if there was anything their worth having a look at with the kids for a couple of hours or so.

Event village is ace, lots going on, plenty food etc for kids, and only a short walk to end of last stage, for some quality heckling/carnage voyeurism... 8)

That section was good fun last year. There was bodies and bikes everywhere when I passed through.

With all this rain - and more to come - it'll be a different box of frogs this year.

There's a chance I might not be riding with my injury, if not I'll be heading there armed with my camera.

Me too. Think it was your fault too Simon - sure you said take the inside on that corner. So I did. And I fell off (but still overtook 2 people mincing around the outside line!).

Ah the ever wonderful "bloke who isn't moving, just standing, staring at me, right in my eyeline, for no reason what so ever" obstacle. I hate those.

Need another few photos in the middle of that sequence as it just goes from upright to flat out. ๐Ÿ˜€

Why do people stand at the bottom of obstacles like that chap? I crashed into a bloke fiddling with his lights at the Pivot 24/12, he was on the only dry line at the bottom of a bomb hole.

Out the way!

I like the way neither the other rider doesn't even move.

Anyone who is worried about that one section, do not ever enter a round of the SES, particularly Inners, Dunkeld or Laggan.
