Well I guess a few of us have been away over the last week. Bill and I headed off to Applecross last week in Tenko's camper van.

I managed a god ride out over the peninsula until heavy bog got the better of me, still a good ride out and an excuse to show some pictures.

The last day brought a bit of a road ride from Applecross to Lochcarron over Bealach na Ba just for the hell of it and stretch the legs.

the bealach road is mental ... i'd love to go back and do it again one day.

Fair to say there was crab, "frankie vaughns" and mussels as well as skylight bitter a plenty.

Also a 7 mph on shore breeze to keep the nippy things away, bliss
