Just how close to the design of a police hi-viz do you think it's possible to get before you get pulled for it?

a group of lads in a corsa went past with the baseball capped passenger leaning out of the window saying "nah it's not" to the drive and then they sped off

its not difficult to get very close without trying if your at a distance. all we wear is essentially a good high vis jacket, white helmet and black trousers. start adding the chequer stuff and i think you may get the odd question asked though.

sometimes though, the intensity/colour of the high-vis stuff seems slightly different from hi-vis stuff you get off the shelf.

Write "Polite" on the jacket front/back in black marker pen also.

Bought a roll a checquered sticky plastic last year to decorate the commute bike. Swear I was treated with more respect (for as long as that dog of a bike lasted ๐Ÿ˜† ).

Think it'd be a strange police force that controlled facial hair!
