From the satellite imagery here it looks like Galloway has no or very little snow. Hoping that the roads may be clear enough by the weekend to get a ride. Can anyone confirm trail/road conditions in the area and perhaps Kirroughtree/Dalbeattie?
It's all good from Drumlanrig down to Kirro.
The broader stanes trails will have icey patches but are rideable, Drum is perfectly grippy with no ice and crunchy frosty snow.
look at the 7 stanes website - it really doesnt look like it

Dalbeattie this morning. Might be worth parking in town car park. Getting into park was a struggle but we slid all the way down the hill onto the road on the way out 😕
Rode Ae on Monday and night ride at Mabie last week + Sat. Will be night riding Mabie on Thurs and probably back there again on Fri for a local trails ride 😉
Snow is nice and crisp giving better than expected grip 😆
Main roads are not bad but proceed with caution, -10 when we ste out @ 10.30am ❗
Thanks for that. Looks cracking in the snow! Hopefully by Sunday the little snow there is will have mostly melted and the roads will be better.
This was on my ride yesterday. About an inch of snow but everything absolutely rideable and Mabie was riding really really fast at the weekend too 😀
