I want a pair of forks that I can wind down to 100mm for climbing and pootling but wind out to 120 / 140 for heading downwards. Also a bolt through axle would be good for rigidity, and they shouldn't be too heavy.
Talas 32 15mm fit the bill, but is there anything better (which includes cheaper) for the job? U-turn Revs...?
just use the travel and chopper up the hills? ๐
My U-turn Rev is 120-150mm.
Dunno if they make a 110-140mm version, but U-turn mechanism only allows 30mm of adjust on air forks, it seems.
Magura Thor is 100-140mm (but nowhere in between), 20mm axle and about 1750g, will be about 5mm taller than a QR15 Fox 32 @ 140mm
I think you can get Revelations in 110-140mm, just it might be harder to find deals on them as there seem to be less advertised
