Still can't swallow £18 a month though
is it really a lot of money? I'm dreading the Spring. Weekend just gone was sunny & warm, spent about £40 on mid/post-ride bacon sandwiches/coffee/cake/beer over the course of it 🤣

No, but then there's gym membership, velodrome fees*, bike maintenance, strava, magazines, etc. At some point everyone draws a line over how much they're prepared to spend on their hobby each month.
I'm quite content spending ~£50/month on beer and chips after the evening chain gang, £40 on Sunday cake and coffee, and £30 on the velodrome. I'm not happy spending £138 on beer + chips + + velodrome + zwift (+strava, +komoot, +whatever else I'm forgetting like BC membership, club dues, etc). Doesn't really matter that Zwift isn't the most expensive part of cycling it's ~£150 a year I can choose to spend on something else (or save).
*slightly sore on this topic at the moment as they said they were included just like booking swimming, racquet sport courts, the gym etc if I joined for the year, and it turned out they're not, so now I have to schelp across town to the gym at the velodrome for no reason rather than stay at the one conveniently near my house.
It was a while ago I tried it on my iPad but iirc it worked fine. iPad Pro with M2 chip.
Was using trainer peaks for a while but had an email they going to charge soon. Not rode anything for a while and now just had surgery I now need to get my arse in gear and get back on the trainer, I need to sort something out.
Was just using my Garmin computer setting the power level and just using that while watching YouTube but could do with something a bit more structured.
I've recently downloaded MyWhoosh - ready for when the docs say I can jump back on a bike. Had Zwift previously but it's just not worth the cost for the use I do - it's been five or more years since I used my turbo (covid was the last time).
