[#3876851]

Just recieved new frame (super slick quick service from On-one) to replace the exploded GF Rig that has gone to the bike shed in the sky.

Simple idea - swap the parts as best I can - before getting the bits that don't fit when swapped replaced.

Looking at the slot swap outs not too sure if I am going to get away with a tight QR to fix the rear wheel.

Anyone not using bolts and threads with any success? Confidence required......

I used a Shimano QR and one drive-side chain-tug for years. Didn't move once.

You'll find people who say different but I'd always use a chain tug on the drive side with a QR wheel.

Here you go, Scandal and a QR.

I found the surly one better than the on one one.

Yep, me too, with an O-O tug on each side. Go for it.

Are you running gears ?
I ran a geared slot dropout inbred for 12 months, just make sure that the wheel is in the front of the dropouts.
Can't comment for SS use though.

Going to run it singlespeed.

Thanks guys. I've always been a nuts and thread guy on the 26. My transition to 29 was via rig with an eccentric so I have a nice non thread wheelset.

Couldn't help myself on Friday with the on one closeouts.....
