I believe you have to pay to use TROT routes, anyone here used them (cheekily or otherwise) , any encounters with red faced/angry horse owners?. Theres a new one just opened up near me and i'm considering using it

My wife, has a horse, I bloody pay for it though... anyway she has been a member of the trot routes before and has on occasion used them when she has not been member.

They are policed, and the ground can obviously could be very rough. I would give it a go and just say you though it was a bridle way, worst that can happen is you will have to go back.
