replaceable bearings looks like a good idea, you could put some branded stainless ones in, worth looking what bearing options are availble.
At 16 squid worth a punt, I do find quite a bit of crap/ water inside "the sealed areas" when I replace my Cheapo BB .
All bearings in the external cups are replaceable, but no one bothers. Also, replacement bearings with grooves on the inner ring? I doubt you will be able to find some easily. Plus you will need a square taper BB tool if you don't already have one.
I've had a Mortop headset and seatpost clamp that came with a new carbon frame, they were light and nicely finished. I don't particularly see the point of this BB, however.
I have one in my stanton switchback mostly cos i wanted a really cheap BB so it was built up and ready to go and I'd just replace it when needed. Did have to buy a specialist tool as it was a BB tool I didnt already have. Cant give you any longer term tests as this is the first winter the stanton will ride through with me.
