I'd like to replace my project 2's with something lighter and comfier, but don't want to have any judder.

Yes, I've been running mine for a few months. I'm not sure about them not 'juddering' - they're comfy because they flex, which means they'll judder with less than perfect brakes.
I think they're great value for what they are. The paint on the steerer is crap - flakes off in your hand, but then it can't be seen, and I'm not sure why it's there anyway. They reduce arm jarring 'chatter' off road and seem strong.
Recommended.

All my forks - suspension, rigid, road - judder at times, so I'm assuming it's caused by the action/performance of the brakes. I won't pretend to know what it is...
AFAIK they are carbon tubes with bonded alu dropouts and crown/steerer.
