Anyone tried a Vaude Northshore 28?

I'm looking for a pack that's a bit bigger than my current Camelbak havoc, but the same kind of style etc. Need something a bit bigger that'll take my DSLR with a bigger lens, the Havoc is pushing it...

Failing that, anyone tried a Northshore 20?

I have the Northshore 28 that I use for commuting: It's pretty good for that, is well made, and has lots of nice features. However, I don't think I would use it for mountain biking as I think it is a little too big.

I can recommend the Dakine Apex or, as you say, have a look at the Northshore 20.

This mightnt not help at all, but I've got a Vaude 18 thats taken a massive battering and crashes for 3+ years and still totally waterproof, looks good and does the biz. When it dies - I'll get another.

The only downside with mine is the "one pocket does everything" feature-I'd like some internal pockets.
