Been tempted by one of these since I saw the interbike footage. Anyone seen one or know when they might be available in the UK?

Anyone got any comment on Intense build quality and ownership experience versus say a Santa Cruz or an Ibis?

Oh god I love my 2010 tracer. Not sure when the new one is out but my only complaint with mine is the rear is s little flexi with a puny QR which I'm going to change to a 10mm axle. Obviously sorted with the new rear drop outs. Wouldn't want to be buying spare G2 drop outs though. Not cheap.

Love my 09 tracer, only problem i had is with the grease nipples. No biggy, just replaced the bearings with the sealed version.

TheSwede, tell me more about the the 10mm axle conversion.....

Hear the 2011 one has slightly a bit more travel and is a bit burlier/heavier, if CRC drops the price on the current one then I could well be tempted.

How have you built yours? Bigger travel and fat forks or lighter build?

TheSwede, notice from an earlier post you did the mega. Was that on the Tracer?

I saw the new at the bike show, travelis up by 10mm (150/160mm). Looks a bit more burlier in places, major difference is the rear end as it can now take bolt through axle or QR depending on your fancy.

Mines built up on the burlier side, Magura Wotans, Flow rims, double ply tyres, but then im of burlier build myself and got fed up with breaking stuff.

Did mega on a SC Bullit. I'm just going to convert a hope pro 2 to bolt through and use a DT Swiss or cheapo super star axle. Did it on the bullet and it stiffens the rear end of a QR bike up immensely.
