I'm trying to find out if by tubeless rims they mean UST only or whether you can use ordinary tyres with sealant, if anyone can confirm, I'd be grateful.

I don't think even stans guarantee every non UST tyre will work on their rims.

As many non UST tyres work on UST rims tubeless, I'd expect the same here.
