[#12190546]

I need to use up some leave, so have Monday booked off. If anyone fancies Snowdon or something good in the Lakes then give me a shout.

<Full Disclosure: I normally tend to do long bimbling rides, but this last year am searching for more engaging tech. Quite happy in big mountains but very much of a punter on proper steeps>

< It'll be cold and difficult, with loads of carrying and pushing, and some risk so... >

Christ, I can't work out a way of expressing that this isn't a TC ride without looking like a complete dick.

Oh well, if the hat fits 😆

Excellent day out yesterday from Braithwaite with @continuity. Whiteless and Grizedale Pikes.

Very long day due to my lack of fitness, huge cafe queue and 45 minutes spent fixing a wheel. Very chuffed that we had all the necessary kit and skills to remove tubeless tape, fit a kevlar spoke and put it all back together including a top up bottle of Stans. And the repair held out for a further 1500m of proper techie descent.

Many thanks for an excellent day Joe.

Forecast for Sonwdon on Monday is wall to wall sunshine. Shirley there's someone with free time and skillz ( full disclosure, I only have the former, but never mind)

Save me from having to do Cut Gate instead on Monday ๐Ÿ™‚
Oh the humanity.
