Mmmmmmn, bagel.

We were in the area, but on the road. No photo's sadly.

Were overtaken by someone with a Heinz Beans top on the way home, anyone from here?

Gorgeous day - daffs out, wild garlic in the air, lovely.

Yes they are. Within a 1 mile radius of each other I reckon.

hi elaine anne. we usually ride up the front of winterhill from accrington on the bolton side then it drops down to rivington. look up pennine bridalway routes for some good rides. rivington got some nice tracks through woods etc.

Lots of good riding, well worth a trip out of the valley.

PS:
Wow, six full stops and a question mark! That's more punctuation in one post than I've seen you use in the last year EA ๐Ÿ˜€

Yeah, I was riding in the area at times, on the road. I overtook loads of people but I wasn't wearing a Heinz Beans top.

If I'd have seen him though I'd have overtaken him too.

You wouldn't have you know.

He was like 57 varieties of tomatoey ninja - zoomed past with a sound like ripping sailcloth, a vague smell of methane and then he was gone.

Tried to keep up with him, but I was toast by that point.

rivington is generally the area with the towers, garden castle etc. Winter hill is the true name of the hill with the Mast that most folk [even locals] would call Rivvy.
Plenty of good trails lots of cheeky stuff and many bridleways are conscionary and marked by way signs but they are not on the OS map.
