Looking to get Summer fit with some bods near Ilkley who ride at weekends. Whether it's around the local area, or further afield (Lakes, Dalby, Ladybower etc.). Ride a 4" full-suss XC bike so not looking for downhill action!
Lot's of local rides around you are organised on retrobike.co.uk. Go on the site and check out the north east and yorkshire sections for upcoming events. friendly bunch and you don't need an old bike 🙂
I used to work near that way and used to join in with JD cycles that organised eve's out....
if they still do it well worth going along!! give them a buzz...
I ride on Baildon Moor/Shipley Glen which has some very challenging climbs to get you fit. Go on a loop starting in Saltaire, along the tow path, back along the river Aire path, up through Hirst Wood, to Shipley Glen and up onto the moor. Welcome to join me one weekend. Takes about 2 hours and I tend to leave early morning....
Yeah, the route onto Baildon Moor/ Shipley Glen sounds good. Give me a couple of weeks to get up to speed and then I'll join you.
