Just wondered what it was like as I want to start doing some more competitive riding to get me fitter.

Good venues, enter the open and have a go! Also look at the Gorrick events, spring series is great! Got me racing and fitter!(ish)

Really easy courses, deffinately suitable for beginners. Gorricks are good fun too. Try the fun or open cat for your first race, and look at your lap times to see what to go for next year.

Yes, not 'easy' definitely. Not scary agreed but the climbing involved especially at Pippingford. Course starts with a one mile downhill and inevitably has some tough climbing.

Apparently tamed down for this race.

They are good, don't get the same entry numbers as the Gorricks, but more varied courses. Both excellent events.

Run by great guys. I would thoroughly recommend them. Seem to attract less knobs than the Goricks too.
