Haven't got a big budget but need to replace my 36H touring wheel as going over the hydro disks from v's. Haven't a clue where to start but needs to be 26", strong enough for touring, standard qr and take a 9sp cassette. Advice welcome.

I use xm819 UST rims, bulletproof for a clydesdale like me. Disc specific, my oldest set (with alfine, so no dishing therefore stronger) are 5 years in november and still perfectly true.
I run another set with Pro2 hubs (3 years old) and they are still perfect too.

I've got a pair of XT disk hubs with Mavic 719 rims. 32 spoke only but they're a strong wheelset.
