I've been offered a bike carrier by a colleague but he's usure what it is? Looks like the kind of thing I'm looking for but before I make the 80 mile round trip to see it, does anyone know what it is so I can have a read up on it?

Was looking at the Ateras last year but bottled it. What are they like for 'longer' bikes?
I ride XL 29ers.
They fit fine. You slide the wheel cups out to their full limits and even if it's not geometrically perfect with the longest wheelbases thestraps hold the wheels fine and it's not going anywhere.
If you ever need to take a third bike, the +1 rail is worth keeping an eye out for. Doubt you'll ever see one on eBay though, so might just have to get a new one from Roofboxco.

When he first mentioned it I was expecting a pretty crap one as he's tight as cramp. Will be interesting to see how much he wants for it.
