Hey

For a while I have been wondering what is written on the side of Shimano MP66 Spd shoes? I assume, perhaps wrongly, it's japanese?

See here for example? (not my ad though!)

http://www.singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/fs-dx-shoes-dx-pedals-dh-rims-and-tyres-new-on-one-singlespeed-kit

Any guesses?

The kanji are the symbols for the numbers 6-10-6, but they probably mean something different put together. Maybe. Japanese is hard.

Should have gone to specsavers ๐Ÿ˜€
I do own a pair, highly rate them apart from the looks - the wife gives a dissapproving shake of the head when she see's me in them!

They seem to have stopped the black ones ๐Ÿ™

They look less orthopaedic than 5.10s though...

So it probably just says "66" then?
