i had one for a month or two.
very small sizing, i had a xl and it seemed to short.
and very uncomfy harsh ride. very rigid.

I had the defy 2, (same frame) My dad has it now.
Large frame (i'm 6'2" with 34" inside leg)
Really enjoyed the ride, found it comfortable and easy to get on with. My dad had a bad back and has no problems. Carbon post and forks must make a difference.
Both my brother in laws have Defy 3.5's and they love theirs too.

The Defy range are designed with a more relaxed geometry and comfort for the sportive type rider.
Can't comment on the ride though as I've never ridden one.
