[#2450731]

I have an early non disc 20" 1X1 frame , which I love. I use it for commuting and off roading on holiday. But I'm only 5' 7" with 30" inside leg, so off road it's way too big for me. I bought a used 18" disc / v 1X1 frame to replace it and noticed the geometry is different. The toptube on the 20" is almost vertical unlike the later frame. What I wondered; was there ever a non disc 16 or 18" frame with a near vertical toptube or because of the smaller size have they always had the sloping toptube?
Anyone got a pic of theres's?

I take u mean horizontal toptube?
if so, I had a 16in old version. and this had a horizontalish top-tube.

Difficult to say.
Here are mine, notice the useful gagrage door as a guide.Note the rear triangles are also slightly different, but the 20" gives a really good old fashioned sort of Path bike ride while the 18" is more MTB

Epicyclo,

Nice. I don't suppose anyone is selling a 18" non disc 1X1 frame, will swap cosmetically challenged v / disc frame (pictured)

Sm

It's the one in my top pic. In the pic it's fixed, but it now looks like the 20" one, as I've swapped all the bits over.

I'll see how much Rory's is and send a price over later. Do you need more pics? It's sound but it's been touched up cosmetically. I bought it as a commuter, so wanted something fairly non basic looking.
