Went for a rip around Cannock - perfect! It hasn't felt that fast since the summer.
On a side note, it felt really dark despite the lack of clouds. Is that 'cos the light doesn't reflect back down or something then? I would have expected more light not less...
Just the local trails for a couple of hours which were nice and crisp, a break from the usual mud fest. Was damn cold though -5 I think, lovely clear skies and you could see Jupiter shining away, perfect!
Sure was 12 hour night shift!! 😯
Yeah quick road ride after work. Couldnt feel my hands or feet until a couple of hours after.
Yeah was a great night to be out.
Went round Macc Forest, 3 Shires etc.. and a few Cheekies. I think it seemed darker because it was very clear but only a partial moon, last Monday was much lighter, it was also cloudier, but then it was a full moon that night.
Joderell Bank was lit up for the BBC and looked like a big Orange amongst the darkness

I went out, my fingers and toes froze, but it was great to be out looking up at the stars.
