oh right thanks for that but not sure if i can be bothered with all the sales guff involved as I'm highly unlikely to buy a new one!

yes ..it's great ..not getting rid of ! I'm looking to build up another similar bike for the winter months with my speedhub attached to reduce maintenance . Rode my hardtail yesterday at haldon and was shaken to bits on the rougher stuff ..must be getting old but prefer the comfort these days. may end up putting the rohloff onto the 5 spot and changing the forks and shock to coil for the muddy months ( I have some spares doing nothing ) Will weigh a ton though!!
btw carl ..I'm a lot more familiar with the non official stuff now having been out with the weds evening gang . hope to meet up again

the bikeshed lot are good. if you just tell 'em you've a pretty good idea of what you want, and are happy to listen to their best deal, then a lot of guff will get cut out. speak to Mike or Keith. tell 'em i sent you ( but mention if that means the price goes up you've never heard of me! ๐Ÿ™‚ ).
