Seem expensive to buy - have plenty of spare wood around - was thinking something like this, made out of wood, sprayed black:

Andy Stand copy might be easier - you could just bend some copper tube or use standard joints to make the angles?
True - I haven't got a pipe bender though but compression jts would work well though?
