Doing a ride today passed the Royal george in Birdlip heading towards Cranham and the racetrack.Just up the road on the left there is a stoney little Lay-by in there was a 02 dark green defender shortwheel base type one, big chucky tyres looked in great condition.had a green police aware sticker on it.Wont be long till some of the bits are removed from it.Strange you would think someone was missing it.Not old for a landrover.

I will be riding past at 830 tomorrow am so will report on how much of it is left!!

Just out of interest, what state is Cranham in, have not ridden it since Oct as dont like to churn it up when it is wet, too precious to ruin!

Any sign of our friend Jim Bowen up there?

Hi BigboyXC Cranham was frozen but still soft going no mud.But to be honest it is a mess in places has been hammer over the winter. No speed in it.Not been in there since end of Oct.So churned up in parts of the racetrack/after the northshore planks and in the dark wood.Wall run was ok.The original portway run was great.Lecky was better and salty grange. Some of the link ups in Cranham are hard going. But shouldnt knock it,it was dry .No sign of Jim just a few horse riders.did you sell your Trek ok?

Hi mate, thanks for that. I was selling a S-Works FSR, and have built up a stealth black On One Carbon 456, which I fear is too small for me..........

PANTS

But looking forward to a run up there tomorrow as long as it is not silly soft! Will go over Leki and down salterly and up shab so should enjoy that. Leki was wet last weekend....!

See you on the trail. Say hi!
