Anyone knows why some of the 2012 bikes have a seat tube bent toward the left side of the bottom bracket...

Probably just took a bit of a knock in the van en route to the shop. I'm sure they'll be fine.

To fit an internal/enclosed gearbox on the cransket which fits on the right side?

a lot of designers are struggling to fit triple cranksets, front mechs etc into 29er frames with short chain stays - I'd guess this is just to give them a bit more clearance to the right of the seat tube.
