I'm working in Ireland for a week, going to take me bike and tack on an extra day at the end and go for a ride. Any one know of any good riding? I'll be travelling back from Killarney to Dublin so somewhere along that route that's not too far from the M road. Preferably way marked or easy to follow as I don't want to get lost and miss my ferry back!

Cheers.

Know lots of road routes around there but no off road so would be interested in any you find.

Is this too off route for you;

very good trail centre, iirc it was a couple of euros to get into the carpark. We went there a couple of years ago, hired bikes there. Good quality trails and enough to easily make a couple of days out of it. There was a bike shop / cabin on site but I don't remember a cafe so bring food / water as needed.

Ballyhoura FTW. Was there last year, great trail centre & not too far off the Dublin bound motorway.

Good facilities too, vending machines, bikewash & showers I think.

Cheers for the replies guys, looked on the map and Ballyhoura should be doable.

Thanks again,
