I'm all the way over in halifax and haven't really explored much over that way at all but i'm sure it's full of good stuff. I've got the day off tomorrow. anyone riding over that way/ know any good routes?

Ride up to widdop res, across the dam wall follow the path up to the top then go like a loony down to hurstwood res!!! Er but then you've gotta come back up the long causeway!! Its all on the OS south pennines!!

When i was there i went into Blazing Saddles and availed myself of their free colour maps - bought some stuff then went for a long lovely ride (in the drizzle). Only prob with the maps is they have the route marked which obscures some of the junctions !!
