[#622137]

Fettling a mates underused bike, which has Formula B4's. The lever 'pops out' and falls forward - has a sort of ball joint that pops out. He said he's had replacements and they did the same. Beyond warranty now, so:
New brakes?
Is there a fix?

Any (helpful) help appreciated.

It's called the dogbone assembly. Like a ball and socket joint and is sold as a whole kit, not expensive. Once the plastic socket bit is damaged, a new dogbone still won't sit in properly. Easily fixable, but the sad news is, i've got no idea who distributes Formula these days! ๐Ÿ˜ณ I'll see if i can find out later.

It's Propel Distn (of Morewood fame I believe)
I've emailed them, but have you had any experience of them at all?
It seems a minor problem to write off the brakes for.

Yep, it is Propel. I've never dealt with them though. phone number is 01726 825038. It's easy to fix if you've got the bits. good luck!

We've dealt with them through the shop, seem a nice bunch of guys, very helpful when we've needed it.
