I potentially need 6 or 7 workstands to stand up to the rigours of daily use. Has anyone had a workstand fabricated for them? If so - pics/cost/who did it etc?

Try Kestrel Engineering. Their stands are excellent and very solid.

Not the best website but proper bits of kit

Many years ago I had a sandwich made for me at a house party in New Cross by a very charming young lady.

Eh?
Old LBS had/has one of those, thought it looked solid as a solid thing could be, just darn expensive (for home use).

i did holiday cover for a friend of my old boss in a shop with one - it drove me NUTS !

We had the top park one in our shop and it was far better than the model E - it was solid and stable but irritating as hell as the arm holding the bike was too short !

Eh+1?

I've got one I found on ebay. Best workstand I've ever owned.
