I only ask as someone I know on Facebook has proudly announced his new bike,
Not one to judge but I genuinely don't imagine the bike was acquired by him or previous "Owners" in a modest way,
That said I could be wrong but I'd rather put it out there just in case,

That bike was for sale at conquer the cliff. It was for sale right by the finish line. Not sure you'd sell it there if it was dodgy. £800 if i remember right.
