Picked one up last week for £850, stripped it and changing the bearings as they are all shot!
Building it up with 160mm pikes, DT Swiss wheels, 11 speed SLX, carbon Race Face bars, dropper, big Hutchinson tyres. Not had a full sus for 7 years so excited!
Does mean the Stanton switchback is now going though 😭
I had a go on one about 5 years ago (vrx with mattocks iirc) and loved it. It was top of my n+1 list but never actually bought one.
Very capable bike. Trophy truck through the chop and climbs better than my ripmo af
Hi had the 2019 VRX model (Fox Factory suspension, DT Swiss wheels, etc.).
Despite spending ages getting the suspension set up just right, and running my favourite tyres, I never got on with it. It/I just couldn't hold a line on my favourite Peak descents. Ponderous climber too.
Kept for 18 months before changing for a SC Tallboy. Night and day difference. Can't argue with £850 though!
