Does it scuff easily or not show rub?
It's a genuine raw finish so shows the true aluminium finish so you will see some scuffs which you will add to over time. However unless you look closely these aren't noticable.
I haven't got any new close ups of mine but there are some on the shedfire blog if you have a search.

i thought the raw eg was painted?
It's rough brushed, colourless-anodised, then lazer etched.
raw bikes are the dogs balls, no paintwork to worry about, a quick clean and they look good as new.

no marks to really speak of, cable rub that cleans nice and shiny but does leave a slight indentation....
