[Closed] Anyone got a small Solaris?

[#6111505]

Current mountain bike is a medium Mk1 Soul, but tempted by a Solaris.

I'm 5'9" and a crucial little bit in height. Initial enquiries with Cotic suggested I would be better on a small Solaris. Any owners of small Solaris's (Solari?) like to confirm or dispute this, and any pics to show how clown bikey a small frame and big wheels may look?

Thanks

That doesn't look at all clown like.

Looking at the seat post you've got showing, wondering if a medium might be better as I'm 3 inches taller than you. But I have short fat fairy legs, suspect our leg length might be quite close (31")?

Might not you be better waiting for the 27.5 Soul?

๐Ÿ™ Took me two years to decide I wanted to try a 29er, away with your inbetweener heresy and common sense!

Sorry Cash, late back to the thread.
My leg length is about 30" so seems about right for you. My seat post is a 400mm and has a good bit to go before its limit.

Folk with seats below the top of the headtube, amazing ๐Ÿ™‚

Mine's about a foot above, and that's on a 20" frame.

On a serious note, that saddle on robbonzo's bike looks lower than I normally like, so maybe small is the way to go
