Just wondering if anyone polished an alloy frame and it still looks good after a lot of use? I'm thinking of doing this with a Scandium Kona Kula Hardtail frame I have. I'm not too keen on getting this powder coated due to the material. I have heard scandium is pretty heavily heat treated so I'm not wanting to weaken the frame with the heat from powder coating.

Two pack spray job is not an option due to cost even at mates rates! Not sure on corrosion properties on Scandium too. I would guess just the same as alloy tubes? But saying that magnesium corrodes very badly and that is similar to aluminium!
