If so what cages do you use?

Mine clash at the bottom, so I need some that sit higher.

I have the same bike and I have ran different brands of bottle cages. The important bit it is that the you can get ones which only have 1 fixed hole and the other is on a slider that allows you to position the cage higher on the bottle boss's.

I'm currently running two of the SKS Topcage mounts as found on CRC at the moment for a fiver a piece. Nice cage, secure bottles and doesn't scratch them up very much. Although though look rather like boring plastic compared to others.

Hope that helps

Boring is fine.

Thanks for the info, it helps.

And available in green to match the green and white frame I have.

used elite race custom plastic ones on mine. fixed holes on both
cages put them far enough up the frame to not clash.

Elite Custom's have fixed holes but also have sliding mounts, I use them to mount my cages low but I'm sure you could mount them high using the same bits.

Elite race cage would be my suggestion too. Not got the planet X but have those cages on all my bikes and there is probably close to 20mm of adjustment.
