DC Nickel or Transition Bandit. Anyone got either and if so what do you reckon?

Thinking about it for general riding and dicking about on bigger stuff. They look like a good option for avoiding silly amounts of rear travel.

ive got a bandit,had it about 5 weeks,its everything i wanted,

think there are lots of good 5 inch bikes just need to choose a brand you want to support.

mines built up around 28lbs climbs very well seated in or out the saddle, ive pushed it very hard on the downs and it copes very well,it really does love the berms and jumps,i found i over shot a few jumps in the 1st few rides .its very very snappy out of corners, holds its speed or if you let it it gains speed very easy ,plenty of options with the shock if you like a fiddle (i do)

i would say it climbs aswell as any other trail bike but i reckon its better than alot going down or in single track, check sizes though, ive got a large and would normally av a medium ,im 5 10,im running a 50mm stem,a dropper seat post and some medium /heavy wheels tyres,

i think 26lb easy doable, ride it all day, race it if your not looking for a top 10,trail centres would be perfect, seat down great play bike
