Saw some last week at L'eroica and I think I need one. Badly. What are the downsides ?

My mate has one, he loves it, although couldn't get on with the original bars, I've ridden it, not for me I'd prefer a proper vintage machine. The brakes work but you have to plan a bit....

I have ridden one some distance, and it feels great at first (although you'll need tweed plus fours). After a while the novelty wears off and it just feels bloody heavy and unwieldy. I very nearly bought one, and still would if I had room for a dozen bikes.
