There is a review in the new Dirt which landed on my doormat yesterday.

Steve Jones is very keen on it indeed.

I have a Canyon Nerve XC and it climbs AMASSSSSIN! I did a fair bit of research before hand, and came to the conclusion that the 0.5 deg diference (between the XC and AM) in head tube angle and better "DOWN" abiliy's of the bike! I took the plunge, and LOVE it to BITS.... the value for money is mind blowing, and the way it rides is Brill too.

I get out on it so much Mrs Smith has questioned if I'm having an affair with the bike... she's even named it Kinki Kandi in honour of how I told her the bike loves it rough and dirty! lol Gota love my Mrs for that.

Thanks folks. The nerve am is also one I have been looking at. The value looks great compare to other brands. Decisions decisions!!

Two of my friends have got them - one with the old style from a few years ago, and one with a 2011 ES8. The new one is particularly impressive - the suspension action is noticeably better and it's quite a few lbs lighter too.

It's a bit too burly for the sort of riding I do, but I struggled to keep up with them on a trans-Alp last October that saw us climb 8km in five days, so they obviously don't hold you back too much when climbing!

Hi
I have a 2011 Strive ES8 and its brilliant. Great spec for the money & is a blast to ride. Climbs really, really well and comes down even better!
If you buy one you wont be dissapointed.

Just had a look at the spec on the 7 and 8. Wow! Those definitely look like the models to go for, valuewise.

These are going to become very popular now they've had a good review in Dirt.
