The spec on the 4 says "cartridge BB" does this mean it's a normal threaded BB or some weird way of using a predator? Wondering as I want to fit HT2 or similar.
Also have Giant stopped using the daftvsize top of their steerers so an after market 11/8 will fit?

I've a 6 month old Defy 0 and it's definitely press fit.
Aluminium Defys have standard steerer top sizes. They are called Overdrive but that's just Giant speak for tapered. The alum ones are 1 1/8 to 1 1/4 but the carbon framed ones (Overdrive 2) are 1 1/4 to 1 1/2.
