My garmin edge 305 has given up the ghost and wont recharge via the USB. It's a couple of years old so well past the warranty, is it worth getting it repaired or should I just buy another? Address of where to send if it is worth it would be useful

Have you tried a hard reset?
Hold the LAP/RESET + MODE buttons for 5-10 seconds to do it if i remember right.
zarqon - Mrs Stoner had the same problem. I tracked it down to a battery connection failure which was a problem with older models but doesnt manifest itself until well after warranty.
A new replacement was too expensive so we did the reconditioned replacement for £60 from Garmin UK. Give them a call and they'll sort you out.
ah thanks all, yes tried the hard reboot, it's just dead. Think I'll go with the exchange offer
