It is an elegant thing though.
Gopping colour, comedy stem and one of those vile layback Thomson posts. Quite hard to tell if the frame looks good or not. And no disk mounts?
How many things are wrong with that? It's stainless, so has paint all over it, it's obviously a custom frame, but the owner can't even get the sizing right to avoid a layback post, plus it's vee-brake only! Nothing about that is remotely appealing to me, it's [i]so[/i] last century.
Mmmm...could have been so much better.
Not very interesting drop-outs. Personally I don't like carbon on steel singlespeeders.
The V's look like very nice Avid Ultimates....but I would still have had disc.
Just doesn't look clean and simple the way a custom sser should.
Oh...and havn't they had a few recalls regarding their 953 frames...could be wrong...don't quote me.
More to the point why use the latest metallurgical technology to create a 2 century old design?
