GF is doing 100km of this and i'm taking her so will have a full morning at least to do my own thing. Any other abandoned males feel like a MTB ride in the south downs?
If anyone knows where they are going around Petworth chichester etc that would be good too!

You could do a pretty decent ride from Cowdray golf course, pick up the Byway by Budgenor lodge A286, and then go explore Northheath, Beaxly hill and Verdley woods. Further afield (15minutes drive), give Roegate a try for some downhill, their facebook page will tell you how to get a permit (£4). Other than that head down to cocking and pick up the southowns way.
