So what's new about this frame?
Rob I have had a commuter (the GT), a soul that snapped, and the 5 all bikes for different jobs. I had a Heckler and a Butcher, one went back as it was damaged on receipt and one didn't fit. That can't be helped.
Now I've sold everything to go to one bike. Having just completed a PGCE, which was damn hard, I've enjoyed tinkering in my spare time (of which was little).
Now it's completed and the house move is complete I can get out and ride.
Theres some pot/kettle action on this thread 😉

The 5 was meant to be the stayer but the other half got some bad news and we moved to be nearer to her family.
I sold the 5 to buy the hard tail and put some money away.
PGCE was in primary education mate. Yeah I grew up around teachers so I've seen the strains over the last few years.
It's worth it though I just have to accept the politics around it.
Is the frame in that pic white, raw or is it primer?
Looks white to me, it's one of the photo's Mike released many months ago.
Slowrider - how are you building yours up? I've got a white frame coming and I'm going with x fusion slants (probably at 140mm), shimano xt/slx drivetrain, hope brakes and pro2 eve/stans flow ex wheelset.
Got a feeling they aren't coming this week.

Really hoping they are coming this week, it'd suck to go off to the lakes without a bike to ride! I am remaining positive, can't hurt.

Good news for all the Dialled Bikes Alpine pre-order customers who have been waiting patiently for their frames to arrive. Just had notification that they are clearing customs this week and will be delivered to DBHQ on Monday AM. Customers can therefore expect to have them by Thursday/Friday next week (overseas customers during the following week).Not all frames are pre-ordered, so we will have stock ready to send out towards the end of next week.
Damn that's this weekends trip cancelled. Ah well.

started picking up bits for the build zee mech and shifter, Flow and hope wheels.
Xfusion slant is top of my fork choices at the moment. Not going to be fully built for a few months though...

So with a hope pick 'n mix set up anyone know if a 2 for the top and a B for the bottom work for a normal fork in this frame?

I got the top cup 2 so that's right for 1 1/8 top.
Bottom you can just get the standard 1.5 lower and the reducer adapter, then you are set if you change to taper in the future.
That's bottom cup H by the way and then you would need the adapter which is about £8.

I have a large orange frame
from a quick look, looks pretty good to me, paint is a nice slightly metalled orange (paint looks better quality than the on-one's i've owned) welds look OK.
When I open it properly I will take photos

I've owned a few dialled bikes now (PA 853, PA, Love/Hate and Alpine) so I know they fit and I am happy with how they ride, hence I didn't worry about as I've never been disappointed 🙂
Yeah, I had a Prince Albert and loved it. Plus Mike is a great guy so no worries here.

I'm getting far too excited waiting for it to turn up... Considering all i will have is a frame and mech.
Ha, I have absolutely everything sat waiting except the frame.
I'm going to build over the winter so Can buy all the bits gradually, have another bike to use for now.
I'll buy one when my Dialled PA (mk1) breaks beyond repair.
(Might have to wait a while)
The Alpine rides very differently to the PA, so why not treat yourself 🙂
