I don't subscribe to this whole over biked shite. I've just come back from a pleasant day at llandegla. On my 160 travel Enduro. It's now my only mountain bike and I don't give a stuff what anyone thinks.

i ride a lapierre froggy around everything!, This over biked nonsense is guff - at 9.7lbs all wheels are overbuilt downhill monsters, all bars are too thick for me, all tubes far too reinforced.....

I only have the one bike (Pitch with 36 Vans and currently a coil rear shock) - totally overbiked for the boggy XC route into the wilds of Harris I did the other day, but I still had a great time. 🙂

Will be interesting to compare the grin factor of CyB on a big bike having only ridden it on 100mm XC bike before, imagine it'll be a bit wider on the downs and a bit less on the ups!

I did the MBR trail a while back, the smooth bits would be easy on a hard tail, some of the rockier parts would be best on a full susser, the extra travel may save you if you pick a shite line or something though..... I think downhill his best on a down hill bike and up hill is best on an uphill bike.

What is this "over-biked" you speak of?
One bike to rule them all...
